HOSTEL RULES

To protect and promote the sanctity of the school by maintaining peace, order and harmony in school.

All boarders should greet the teachers.

All the boarders should converse in English in the School premises and the Hostel to develop their language skills.

Students are not allowed to keep electronic Gadgets, cash, jewellery or any costly items with them in the hostel. No cash should, therefore, be given or sent to them directly. Food packets from homes are also discouraged in case such packets are received; they are distributed among boarders or the students’ roommates at the discretion of the in charge.

Girls are strictly forbidden to use valuable gold ornaments except small ear rings.

Boarders are expected to keep their rooms neat and tidy and any type of disfiguring of walls, doors or windows will be strictly dealt with Garbage and wastage only be put at garbage box available nearby hostel premises.

Boarders shall take their meals in the common Dining hall and should be properly dressed at the mealtimes. Mess utensils are not allowed to be taken out of the Dining hall. Only vegetarian meals will be served.

Damages done to library books, laboratories, sports goods hostel equipments, furniture, mess property etc. will be viewed as violence. Such losses should be paid for at the discretion of the In Charge.

No hostel student is allowed to go home except during approved terminal holidays. However in case of medical ground or emergency leave will be permitted with prior permission with proper procedure of warden/Hostel In charge.

The student who wants to go home for any reason should first obtain permission from the Director-Principal/Principal/Hostel Spurt., and on the basis of that she will seek the Warden's permission to leave the hostel, failing which the entire responsibility will be of the student concerned and of the parents.

Students should switch off the lights and fans when rooms are not in use. Students have to use water and electricity judiciously. If fan, tube, etc., found ON in the absence of the students at their rooms, fine will be charged by hostel authorities.

Boys are not allowed to enter at the girl’s hostel as well as Girls are not allowed to enter at boy’s hostel between without permission.

Students suffering from contagious disease will not be allowed to stay at hostel. Decision of the Warden in this regard will be final and binding.

Any complaint from the neighbors/society will result in strict action.

No resident of the hostel will be absent from the hostel without the written permission of the Warden/ Principal. Residents wishing to visit `friends, relatives allowed by the parents, even on holidays, shall obtain the written permission of the Hostel Superintendent/Warden. If this rule is not observed by the hosteller, the consequences and responsibility shall be entirely of the hosteller/parents.

Students indulging in use of abusive and threatening language, physical fights, use of force to get unfair act accomplished, etc. will be punished. Further, they are liable to be expelled from the hostel/ Institute.

Formation of the societies, associations or clubs and holding of meetings other than routine periodic cultural meetings of the hostels is strictly prohibited.

Hostel accommodation (room) can be changed by the management if they found it necessary at any point of time.

Ragging is strictly prohibited in any form; if someone found guilty, severe action will be taken by the principal.

Parents can call their wards only on Saturday (3 pm to 6 pm) or Sunday (9 am to 12 noon).

Parents can visit their wards in the hostel only on second or forth Sunday of the month and5:30 pm will be the last time for arrival/departure from hostel on outing days.

Hostel students are not allowed to use school transport. They must come or go with their parents.
